Anne-Sophie Collard

Anne-Sophie Collard est Docteur en information et communication et Professeur à l’Université de Namur. A l’Université Saint-Louis, elle enseigne la sémiotique. Ses centres d’intérêt se portent essentiellement sur les usages des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication, et les représentations des usagers et des concepteurs. A partir des approches sémio-cognitive et socio-cognitive, elle cherche à intégrer dans ses travaux les dimensions techno-sémiotique, sociale et cognitive des objets qu’elle étudie. Elle est directrice de l’Unité Communication et Internet du Centre de Recherche Information, Droit et Société (CRIDS).

Anne-Sophie Collard has a PhD in information and communication sciences and is professor at the University of Namur. She teaches Semiotics at Saint-Louis University. Her researches mainly focus on ICT uses and representations constructed both by users and by ICT designers. Through semio-cognitive and socio-cognitive approaches, she integrates techno-semiotic, social and cognitive dimensions in her works. She is director of the Communication and Internet Unit of the Information, Law and Society Research Center (CRIDS).
