Geoffroy Patriarche

Geoffroy Patriarche est professeur ordinaire en Information et communication à l’UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles et co-responsable du master en Stratégie de la communication et culture numérique co-organisé avec l’ISFSC. Ses intérêts de recherche se situent à la croisée des audiences studies, des discourse studies et des misinformation studies. Geoffroy intervient comme co-lead dans le projet européen EDMO BELUX 2.0, une plateforme multidisciplinaire de recherche et d’intervention sur la désinformation en Belgique et au Luxembourg (https://belux.edmo.eu/). Geoffroy a été (co-)directeur d’Engage – qu’il a fondé – de janvier 2008 à septembre 2025.

Geoffroy Patriarche is a full professor in Media and communication studies at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels and co-director of the Master’s programme in Communication Strategy and Digital Culture, co-organised with ISFSC. His research interests lie at the intersection of audience studies, discourse studies and misinformation studies. Geoffroy serves as co-lead of the European project EDMO BELUX 2.0, a multidisciplinary research and intervention platform on disinformation in Belgium and Luxembourg (https://belux.edmo.eu/). Geoffroy was (co-)director of Engage – which he founded – from January 2008 to September 2025.
